Sweating is a ventilation process that allows our body to release heat and detoxify. Unfortunately, it results into body odor.
Sweat is not the major culprit though, but bacteria. Lipids and amino acids released by the apocrine glands as sweat are actually odorless, but when you sweat in bacteria-prone areas of the body like the armpits, these lipids are broken down into certain acids that release an unpleasant smell.
Body odor is embarrassing; that's a fact. But you don't need to live with it. The truth is, body odor can be prevented if you know just how to block sweating.
